Rabindra Sangeet

 

Rabindra Sangeet, the genre of Tagore songs, caught Ahmad’s attention when he was a boy. He was fascinated with its soulful and melodic tunes. He grew up listening to Debabrata Biswas, Sagar Sen, Chinmoy Mukhapaddhay and other stalwarts who dominated the Rabindra Sangeet scene for quite a few years.

In 2009 Ahmad released “Megh Bolechhe” with Fahim Music. In 2010, on the Bengali new year. G-Series brought out “Mor Bhabonare” under the label “Agniveena”.
